DAVID FRAME
President & Co-Owner
David leads our Projects Team and, along with Darrell, oversees all business operations.
David and his wife, Leigh, live in the Cotswold area of Charlotte. Their daughter, Caroline, is a proud graduate of "the other Carolina" (UNC - Chapel Hill) and spent the last couple of years teaching English in Spain. The other members of the Frame family are of poodle descent....a Newfypoo, Atticus, and a Goldendoodle, Winnie. Both are frequent guest members of the Office staff.
SCOTT STAFFORD
Service Coordinator - NC
Anyone who has ever reached out to Redblue for HVAC support knows and appreciates Scott. He has 25 years of experience in the HVAC industry, 18 with Redblue.
Scott is a Charlotte native and lives in Mint Hill where his beautiful daughter Olivia (10) keeps him very busy. They are guarded at home by their fierce Yorkie-Poo, LuLu.
MELANIE JONES
Accounts Payable & HR
Melanie has been with Redblue since August of 1996 and has held a number of roles including dispatcher, A/R, and now A/P and HR Manager.
Melanie grew up in Colorado in the city of Longmont, about 30 miles north of Denver. She loves to travel and, so far, considers Italy her favorite vacation destination. Melanie's grown son, Cody, resides here in the Charlotte area.
BRAD MATTSON
VP - Sales & Marketing
Brad has been with Redblue since 2013 and in the HVAC industry since 2003. A native of Pennsylvania, he has an undergrad degree from Wake Forest and an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
Brad lives in South Charlotte with his wife, Susan, and their two children, Molly (13) and Andrew (11). They're active in youth sports, with the Y Guides, and spending time with grandparents, aunts, uncles and their 12 nieces/nephews/cousins.
Not that he's bragging, but Brad has won the company fantasy football league 2 of the past 3 years.
UPDATE: 10th place last year...ouch
WAYNE LASSITER
Dir. of Business Development -
TRIAD
Wayne joined the Redblue team in January of 2012. He has been in the HVAC industry for 28 years in a variety of roles, including technician, installer, service manager, and field sales.
Wayne was honorably discharged from the USAF after serving 8 years as a Staff Sergeant. He is a Gulf War Veteran with two trips overseas to support Desert Shield/Storm, along with Operation Southern Watch in southwest Asia.
Wayne's originally from Asheboro, NC and lives in the area today. His hobbies include cooking, playing guitar, riding motorcycles, shooting sports and spending time with his two kids, Cassie and Jacob, son-in-law Brandon and granddaughter Naomi.
ALAN MONTGOMERY
Dir. of Business Development -
UPSTATE
Alan joined Redblue in January of 2015 and is an integral part of our Upstate SC Team. He's originally from deep in the heart of Texas (Jayton, current population: 533, to be exact) and lived in a number of states throughout the Southeast growing up.
Alan attended the University of Central Florida and the Golf Academy of America back in the day. He is, without a close second, our best golfer.
He and his wife of 15 years, Alison, live in the Greenville suburbs with their son, daughter and three dogs.
DARRELL FRAME
CFO & Co-Owner
Darrell and his (slightly heavier, according to Darrell) twin brother, David, founded Redblue back in November 1993. Originally from Columbia, SC, Darrell graduated from Irmo High School and the University of South Carolina.
Darrell enjoys playing and coaching volleyball. He and his wife, Andrea, recently became empty nesters as their daughters completed high school and headed an hour south to continue the family USC tradition (Kaylan '19 and Morgan '23). The Frames enjoy their two cats, Tiggs and Kitty, and are big supporters of Gamecock football.
BRIAN FARMER
Service Coordinator - SC
Brian is a Spartanburg native and has been with Redblue since 2010. During the week, he keeps busy holding down the fort in our Upstate Office.
Brian's a Navy vet and has commercial HVAC experience dating back to the late 80s. He and his wife, Tammy, have a son (Tyler) and a daughter (Heather), two dogs (Bella & Dexter) and a grandson, Carson.
LORRI GUNTHER
Accounts Receivable
Lorri has been a key member of the Redblue team for 17 years, apparently starting with the company right out of high school.
A native and continued Gaston County resident, Lorri has two grown daughters, Hannah & Jessie, and enjoys time at home with her former foster and now permanent 4-legged companion, Stella. They continue to foster, love and rehabilitate neglected dogs whenever the need arises.
Lorri enjoys listening to all types of music, line dances with friends at Coyote Joes or wherever space permits, and looks forward all year to her annual Winter Girls' Trip to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.
STEVE BLINN
Projects Consultant - NC
Steve graduated from Clemson with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and is LEED AP certified. He was part of the Redblue team from 2001-2011 and rejoined in June of 2020 in a Project Consulting role. Steve helps our current customers when the time comes to replace units and/or they need some guidance with unique HVAC-related issues.
Steve and his wife, Shannon, live in the Ballantyne area with their son, Brayden, and the family pet, Hershey. Yes, he's brown.
Steve has a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, so he occasionally assists with account collections. Just kidding....or are we?
DUANE LINNENS
Dir. of Business Development - CHARLOTTE METRO
Duane joined Redblue in 2020 after working 21 years in manufacturing and training roles with Timken. He has spent his whole life in Boiling Springs, NC, and even went to college there, graduating from Gardner-Webb in 1998.
Duane and his wife of 20+ years, Candice, have two children (Mikaila and Clayton), two dogs Rose and Quinn) and a cat (Cheddar).
Duane is actively involved in the Charlotte regional youth volleyball community and coaches the Carolina Juniors 13 Girls National Team.
BRIAN ABERNATHY
Projects Lead
Brian joined Redblue in January of 2011 and has 15+ years of HVAC expertise. He's originally from Bessemer City and resides in Gastonia with his wife, Laura, and their son Grayson.
Brian tortures himself by continuing to love and support the NY Giants. He's also enjoys golf, so much that he takes a ton of swings every time he plays.
